The Omnis Conversion tools comprise a number of libraries developed by Omnis and some of its developers to allow you to convert your existing Omnis 7 libraries to Omnis Studio. One Omnis 7 library prepares your library for conversion to Studio, and a Studio library converts your library to Omnis Studio. Note that the conversion tools do not handle every aspect of conversion, but after using the tools you get a Studio library complete with the new event handling mechanism, and so on.

The zip files unpack to a number of folders containing the conversion libraries, help files, and Powerpoint presentation about conversion. Before using the conversion tools, please read the Readme.txt, the Conversion help files, AND MAKE SECURE BACKUP COPIES OF ALL YOUR LIBRARY FILES PRIOR TO CONVERSION. In addition, you should read the Conversion document describing the modules in the conversion tool, and you may like to read the technical note TNCN0001.
