Raining Data is pleased to announce the latest versions and the general availability of the following products: D³ AIX 7.4.1, D³ Oracle Gateway 2.1, and D³ MQSeries 2.1.

D³ AIX
D³ AIX is a robust platform for running your critical applications. It offers greater scalability especially in database-intensive applications, by taking advantage of up to 24-way symmetric multiprocessing processors and 64 GB of real memory. Improved cache affinity produces better performance.

Note: Check your OS prior to installing D³ AIX 7.4.1. This release is only compatible with AIX 5L version 5.2.0.10 or later.

What's New in D³ AIX 7.4.1?
D³ AIX 7.4.1 offers improved performance through the new 4 KB frame size, in addition to enhancements to the overall performance and functionality of the product. For further details, please view the Documentation on our Web site.

Product Update
D³ AIX 7.4.1 is available at no charge to customers with D³ AIX 7.x software licenses covered by a paid Software Maintenance Agreement (SMA). These licenses will be automatically enabled for this current release. This product update is available for download from our FTP site. D³ Oracle Gateway
D³ Oracle Gateway is a middleware solution for D³ and Oracle integration. The Open File System Interface (OSFI) allows D³ developers to open, read, write and select data from an Oracle database with all the standard D³ tools such as BASIC, Update Processor, Editor, AQL, etc. This driver delivers a transparent transport mechanism that allows accessing Oracle data to become as easy as accessing D³ data.

Note: D³ Oracle Gateway 2.1 is only compatible with the D³ AIX 7.4.1 release.

D³ MQSeries
D³ MQSeries Application Programming Interface (API) and components are used to enable different applications running on heterogeneous operating systems and business applications to exchange data using messages and queues. With D³ MQSeries, the complexity of the underlying networking layer to and from MQSeries is completely hidden from the developer.

Note: D³ MQSeries 2.1 is only compatible with the D³ AIX 7.4.1 release.

The D³ Oracle Gateway and D³ MQSeries updates are available at no charge to customers covered by a paid D³ Oracle Gateway and D³ MQSeries SMA. Media is required and shipping charges do apply.
