Sr. Software Engineer 
Java - Text Analytics
Description/Responsibilities:

We’re seeking a talented an innovative individual to work in developing new components and algorithms for text analysis in a database environment. You will work in extending database environment to provide richer facilities to tokenize, classify and query unstructured and semi-structured text data. The ideal candidate should be able to tackle real-world problems end-to-end, from analysis to invention to design and implementation.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a related field, including text mining, text analytics, natural language processing, full-text search, etc.
• Previous experience dealing with efficient processing of high volumes of information
• Undergraduate degree in CS, EE or equivalent
• 4+ years of Java knowledge and experience

Desirable:

• Passion for writing high quality, well-designed and well-documented code in C++
• Experience with ranking/scoring, stemming, phonetic algorithms and other full-text work
• Understanding and experience with full-text query languages, including relational extensions and Lucene
